Another gateway to an engineering school
Developed in partnership with the ECAM Rennes (Catholic School of Arts and Crafts) engineering school, the new “BTS +” scheme enables students to join the first year of ECAM on a sandwich course in Industrial Engineering or in Digital System 4.0, after two years of initial training at Lycée Jeanne d'Arc.
A continuous assessment course
The students willing to benefit from the “BTS +” scheme will follow a weekly 4-hour reinforcement course for 2 years, divided into two training modules :
- a general training module : 80 hours in French, English, and digital sciences.
- a specialty training module : 80 hours in mathematics, physics, and mechanics.
At the end of the second year of their Advanced Technician's Certificate (BTS) in Electro-Technical Studies course, the students who followed this additional preparatory course will be able to join the engineering school without having to take a competitive exam, if their continuous assessment results are good enough and if they have found an apprenticeship.
