A deployment in 3 phases

It was the LIME company, a global player in micromobility, which was selected by the community.

The deployment of the service will take place in 3 phases:

phase 1 - July 19: launch of the service on the perimeter of the reconstructed center of Le Havre and the waterfront; deployment of 600 scooters
phase 2 - September start: gradual development throughout the city; deployment of 750 scooters
phase 3 - from the 1st quarter of 2022: extension of the service to all urban centers of the Urban Community which request it; deployment of 850 scooters
Prices are set by the operator either per use or by subscription.

Controlled circulation

Scooters must be used on cycle paths or on roads limited to 50 km/h.
Traffic restrictions are put in place depending on the sector (automatic speed limit in pedestrian zones, traffic ban in cemeteries, etc.).
For the safety of users, no parking is positioned less than 50 meters from the pools and prohibited zones are applied near these bodies of water.
If these rules are not respected, the scooter is automatically deactivated, forcing the user to make a U-turn to reach the authorized area.

Dedicated parking spaces

For the launch of the service, around sixty locations, chosen by the Urban Community in consultation with the City of Le Havre, are positioned near the main centralities.

The spaces are primarily positioned on parking spaces next to pedestrian crossings. Indeed, under the LOM law, these parking spaces are intended to be prohibited from car parking by 2026.

The user is required to leave their scooter at these locations to stop billing for the service.
