A new Master for La Manu

La Manu launches a Master’s degree in IoT and Smart Building project management

IoT technology is revolutionizing our habits and those of businesses. It offers the possibility of controlling objects remotely, making them communicate with each other and exploiting the data connected to them, generating new uses.


Through a system of sensors, IoT makes it possible to collect a set of data, stored then analyzed by Artificial Intelligence algorithms to help with decision-making and improve company performance.

This is why La Manu – Ecole Supérieure des professions du Numérique will launch a Masters in IoT & Smart Building Project Manager (Bac+5) on its Le Havre Campus at the start of the next school year.

During this training, La Manu offers students Expert modules on the following themes:
-    Management and entrepreneurship,
- Real time and embedded systems,
-    Smart Manufacturing and industry 4.0,
-    Smart Building,
-    Programming, Data Analysis, AI, Business Intelligence


The IoT & Smart Building Project Manager Master's degree takes place over 24 months on a alternating basis (1 week in training / 3 weeks in a company).
It is based on professional situations arising from real and concrete problems. The students will also carry out a “red thread” project defined by industrialists.

At the end of this Master's degree, graduate students will be able to:
-    Define the skills and technologies adapted to a project on IoT and the analysis of data from IoT,
-    Manage a team,
-    Understand the general functioning of industrial systems,
-    Use Data Science and AI algorithms to understand and analyze malfunctions,
-    Present data from sensors with Business Intelligence tools,
-    Offer solutions and services for supply chain, manufacturing, Smart Building, etc.
