MAIN EVENTS

Un Été au Havre

Un Été Au Havre was created in 2017 to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the foundation of the city and its port.

This unique anniversary was celebrated through an extensive festive summer programme designed and directed by artistic director Jean Blaise.

Each summer, new temporary and permanent art installations are unveiled in public spaces. They constitute the DNA of Un Été Au Havre, an event deeply rooted in boldness and modernity..

In 2017, 2 million visitors attended Un Été Au Havre. This tremendous success encouraged the organisers to repeat the event each summer until 2026.

Since then, Un Été Au Havre has taken over the city each summer with new monumental artworks and exhibitions.
