What are you doing on the Transat ?

I have several missions on the Transat... First of all I was in support of the coordination of the Student Regatta which took place yesterday on the Eure basin. Not being able to sail because of my many missions, I found the crew that went to compete in the Student Regatta.

On the Transat, I am in charge of the baptisms of sails (filling the registrations, equipping the people...) for the general public, action which is co-organized bt the Société des Régates and the SNPH and the sailing clubs of Le Havre.

I am also a volunteer for the City of Le Havre every morning, my tasks are various and varied according to the needs. And finally, I am a helper on the boat of Thimoté Polet and Nicolas Lemarchand: support on the organization of visits, organization of cocktails, errands of everyday life...

What study path are you following ? Why did you choose this school ?

I am a 1st year BMI 1 student at EM Normandie. After a semester in medicine, which I didn't like at all, I worked on a student contract at Decathlon, which made me realize that I liked business. I really wanted to go business school because I knew it would open up more opportunities than a bachelor's degree.

I hope to be able to do my second semester abroad (Oxford) next year, if finances allow, and maybe my third year in a work-study program.

What do you think of Le Havre ?

Originally from Saint-Philibert-sur-Risle (near Pont-Audemer), I arrived in Le Havre for my higher education last year. I found it very easy to integrate, the city is big but it's a small village because people know each other. And the city is on a human scale.

As a sailing enthusiast, I love being in the beach area: sailing club, marina and of couse the bar La Petite Rade where I like to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
