This year, the Hemicycle was held on February 10 and 11 and focused on Education.

The establishments represented were Sciences Po, the University of Le Havre, the 42, the ENSM, the Jules Prévost high school, the Jules Siegfried high school and the François 1er high school

The first day, in the Science Po premises, included the opening ceremony with guests such as Mr. Lainé and the opening of the commissions in French and English!

The participants, after drafting amendments, were able to have lunch and discuss among themselves before resuming the commissions on the subject of secularism.

The second day was launched with the speech of Seine-Maritime senator Agnès Canayer at the Carré des Docks. Debates and a general discussion then allowed a final vote. In total, 4 commissions took place: secularism, private schools, inclusive writing and the protection of regional languages; important subjects and at the heart of the news.

This event allowed students to discover the jobs of deputy and senator and to reflect and debate on essential points.

So, if you would like to participate in the next simulation, don’t hesitate to follow the Hemicycle on Instagram!
